Every smoothie here carries our high-protein label: at least 20 g protein per serving and at least 20 % of the calories from protein. The protein comes from skyr, quark, yoghurt, milk, nut butter, silken tofu or protein powder – each recipe shows what’s in it. No refined sugar, no sweeteners.
No. 200 g skyr or quark already bring 22 to 24 g protein, with a little more from milk, oats or nut butter.
More of a snack or a quick breakfast. Drinks usually keep you full for less time than food you chew with the same calories – if you’re hungry, add something like wholegrain bread or a handful of nuts.
They’re best blended fresh. You can prepare the fruit, though: freeze it in portions and add it to the blender with skyr or milk in the morning.
