Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: blender · sieve

  1. Wash the blueberries thoroughly and drain them well.
  2. Put the skyr, blueberries, oats and chia seeds in the blender.
  3. Add the almond milk and maple syrup.
  4. Blend everything until the smoothie is creamy and even. If you like it thinner, add a little more almond milk.
  5. If you like, let the smoothie stand briefly so the chia seeds swell a little and the texture gets slightly fuller.
  6. Pour the smoothie into glasses and serve straight away.

Good to know

When you're short on time, a smoothie like this is simply nice to have. Creamy, fresh and satisfying without feeling heavy.

Swaps

Skyr → plain Greek yoghurt (similar protein content, slightly creamier). Almond milk → unsweetened oat milk (mild flavour, a few more carbs). Maple syrup → date paste (more fibre, less free sugar per spoonful). Chia seeds → ground linseed (fibre and omega-3 fatty acids).

Allergens

Contains milk (skyr) and tree nuts from the almond milk – with a nut allergy, swap it. Suitable for children in an adjusted portion, and no problem during pregnancy with fresh, well-washed ingredients. Contains: milk, tree nuts (almonds), gluten (oats).
