Frequently asked questions
Is there a free app to track my weight?
Yes. In SmarTasty you log your weight for free and see your trend as a 7-day average – in the iPhone app and in your browser. You only need a free account.
Why does the app show an average instead of today’s weight?
Weight goes up and down from day to day. The average of the last 7 days shows the direction more calmly; every single entry is still in the list and a dot on the line.
Can I take values from Apple Health?
Yes, in the iPhone app in one tap – for days without your own entry. SmarTasty only reads your weight and writes nothing to Apple Health.
Can I use pounds?
Not yet – weight is in kilograms.
Does my calorie goal change with my weight?
Not by itself. Tap “Recalculate” in your profile and the app uses your current weight.
