Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: blender

  1. Pour the milk into the blender and spoon in the low-fat quark.
  2. Check the raspberries for any bits and add them.
  3. Blend everything vigorously on the highest setting until the raspberries are broken down.
  4. Let the blender run a little longer so plenty of air is whipped into the shake.
  5. Pour the shake into a cup and enjoy it as a snack.

Good to know

Quark is a go-to basic for many athletes. Together with berries, it makes a shake that tastes very much of summer and dessert.

Swaps

Low-fat quark → soya yoghurt (if you avoid dairy, soya yoghurt gives a similar thickness with slightly less protein).

Cooking tips

It's best to use frozen raspberries. They make the smoothie really cold and the texture much thicker than fresh berries.

Storage

Because of all the fruit acid in the berries, the milk can curdle if the drink is left out unchilled for a long time. Keep it cold!

Allergens

Contains milk. Completely gluten-free. Contains no nuts.
