Frequently asked questions

How do I get lots of plants into a quick dinner?

With shortcuts: lentils, beans and chickpeas from a jar, frozen veg, pre-cooked brown rice, plus a handful of nuts, seeds and fresh herbs. Every new kind counts towards variety.

How are the recipes chosen?

With our “Fibre & variety” score, with at least 8 out of 10 points. Points come from fibre per serving, lots of different plants, pulses, oats and fermented ingredients like yoghurt, kefir or sauerkraut; ready-made products take points away. On top of that: lunch or dinner, ready in 30 minutes or less.

How do I eat more fibre without it pinching?

Slowly – about 5 g more per week – and drink enough. Rinse tinned pulses well, and soak chia and linseed overnight.
