Good to know
Sometimes a smoothie can just be quietly good. Creamy, fresh and satisfying without feeling heavy.
Swaps
Walnuts → almonds (more vitamin E, a little more calcium). Blackberries → blueberries (milder in flavour, also with fibre). Silken tofu → unsweetened soya yoghurt (similar protein content, slightly fresher). Water → unsweetened almond milk (creamier texture, some vitamin E depending on the product).
Allergens
Contains soya and walnuts. Generally suitable for children if the nuts are blended very finely. During pregnancy it's usually no problem, as long as the ingredients are fresh and agree with you.
