Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: microwave · frying pan · chopping board · knife

  1. Warm the wholemeal tortillas briefly in a dry frying pan or in the microwave so they become soft and easy to fold.
  2. Spread the tortillas with peanut butter and arrange the sliced bananas on top.
  3. Drizzle over the maple syrup and sprinkle everything with chia seeds and a little cinnamon.
  4. Roll up the tortillas tightly and press down lightly so the filling holds well.
  5. For neat pieces, halve the wraps diagonally.
  6. Serve straight away or wrap tightly to take with you.

Good to know

When it needs to be quick, these wraps are just pleasantly easy. Creamy and sweet, without much effort.

Swaps

Peanut butter → almond butter (contains vitamin E and tree nuts) | wholemeal tortillas → spelt wraps (also provide fibre and minerals; seed-oil-free) | maple syrup → mashed dates (also provide fibre) | chia seeds → ground linseed (more alpha-linolenic acid)

Allergens

Contains peanuts and gluten (wholemeal tortillas). For children, cut into small pieces and give them something to drink with the chia seeds; in pregnancy, the ingredients are generally fine.
