  2. Wash the basil thoroughly and add the leaves.
  3. Add the macadamia butter and pour in the oat milk.
  4. Blend everything on high until the drink is smooth and creamy.
  5. Check the consistency and blend briefly again if needed.
  6. Pour the mixed berry and basil drink into a glass and serve straight away, well chilled.

Good to know

Fruity, cool and pleasantly creamy. The basil gives the drink a fresh, almost unexpected note that makes it special.

Swaps

Macadamia butter → almond butter (more vitamin E) | oat milk → unsweetened almond milk (lighter texture, usually a few fewer carbs) | redcurrants → raspberries (more fibre) | basil → mint (a fresh herby note that's just as delicate)

Allergens

Contains tree nuts from the macadamia butter; oat milk contains gluten unless it's certified gluten-free. Generally suitable for children if you know they tolerate nuts; fine during pregnancy with well-washed basil and hygienic preparation. Contains: gluten (oats).
