Ingredients
150 g dates
3 tbsp peanut butter
3 tbsp cocoa powder
20 g hazelnuts
1 pinch of sea salt
Method
You’ll need: blender · chopping board · knife
Stone the dates, soak them briefly in warm water, then squeeze them out well.
Put the dates, peanut butter, cocoa powder and sea salt in a blender and blend everything into a thick, sticky mixture.
Roughly chop the hazelnuts and knead them into the chocolate mixture so it keeps some bite.
Press the mixture into a small tin and smooth the top.
Chill the fudge in the freezer until it's firm enough to cut.
Cut the cold vegan date and chocolate fudge into small squares and serve straight away or slightly thawed.
Good to know
When you want something sweet fast, this fudge is a really good shortcut. Moist, dense and pleasantly chocolatey – without much effort.
Contains peanuts and hazelnuts. For children, only serve in an age-appropriate form and texture; during pregnancy the ingredients are normal, as long as they agree with you.
