Tip the tuna into a sieve, drain well and flake loosely with a fork.
Wash and core the apple and cut it into small cubes. Slice the spring onion into thin rings.
Stir the Greek yoghurt with the mustard, lemon juice, salt and pepper in a bowl until smooth.
Add the tuna, apple and spring onion to the yoghurt dressing and mix gently.
Leave the salad to stand briefly and season again with lemon juice, salt or pepper if needed.
Serve the tuna and apple salad on its own, on salad leaves or on toasted wholegrain bread.
Good to know
When it needs to be quick, this salad is a really good answer. Fresh, creamy and pleasantly crunchy – without much effort.
Swaps
Greek yoghurt → skyr (more protein); apple → pear (similarly juicy, a little milder in flavour); spring onion → chives (milder).
Allergens
Contains fish, milk and mustard; for children, only with finely cut ingredients and an age-appropriate portion. In pregnancy, well-chilled, cooked or safely preserved tuna is generally fine, but because of mercury, better not too often. Contains: mustard.
