Ingredients
- 4 large Medjool dates
- 20g whole roasted almonds
- 2 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 pinch of coarse sea salt
- 1 tsp cacao nibs
Method
You’ll need: chopping board · knife
- Cut the Medjool dates open lengthways and remove the stones. Make sure they still hold together at the bottom.
- Fill the opening of each date with peanut butter. A small spoon is the tidiest way to do it.
- Press the roasted almonds into the peanut butter. This gives the bites more crunch.
- Sprinkle with coarse sea salt and cacao nibs. Both stick well to the soft filling.
- If you like them a little firmer, chill the dates briefly. They become more compact and easier to eat.
- Serve straight away and enjoy fresh. Chilled, they taste a little crunchier.
