Ingredients
2 bananas
100 g rolled oats
3 tbsp peanut butter
30 g chocolate protein powder (unsweetened)
400 ml almond milk
Method
You’ll need: blender
Peel the bananas, break into rough pieces and put them in the blender.
Add the oats and peanut butter, so the shake turns out creamy and thick.
Add the chocolate protein powder and almond milk.
Blend everything well until smooth and even. If needed, leave to stand briefly and blend again.
Check the consistency and adjust with a little more almond milk if you like.
Pour into a large glass and serve straight away.
Good to know
When it needs to be quick, a creamy shake like this is simply practical. Generous, well rounded in flavour and in the glass without much effort.
Swaps
Almond milk → unsweetened soya milk (contains soya) | Peanut butter → almond butter (provides vitamin E) | Rolled oats → fine porridge oats or cooked rice (smoother texture, often easier to drink)
Allergens
Contains peanuts, tree nuts (almond milk) and gluten (oats, unless labelled gluten-free); check the protein powder for further allergens. For children, only in a suitable portion size and without extra sweetening; in pregnancy generally fine with standard, safe ingredients.
