Good to know
When it needs to be quick, I especially like little savoury bites like these. Creamy, fresh and on the table without much effort.
Swaps
Cream cheese → soft goat's cheese (often a little tangier, also provides protein and calcium); smoked salmon → smoked trout (similar protein content, also contains omega-3 fatty acids); dill → chives (milder flavour, also contains plant compounds); lemon juice → lime juice (fresh acidity, also a little vitamin C).
Allergens
Contains fish and milk; for children, serve only finely cut. In pregnancy, cold-smoked salmon is only advised when cooked until steaming hot – these rolls are served cold, so it's best to skip them.
