High-protein sesame-crusted chicken bites with mustard dip
High-protein sesame-crusted chicken bites from the oven instead of the deep fryer, with a dip made from skyr, mustard and honey. A New Year's Eve snack with 39 g of protein per serving.
Preheat the oven to 220 °C (200 °C fan) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
Cut the chicken breast into 3 cm pieces and season with the paprika, salt and pepper.
Beat the egg in a shallow dish. Coat the chicken pieces first in the spelt flour, then in the egg and finally in the sesame seeds.
Lay the pieces on the tray, drizzle with the olive oil and bake for 15 to 18 minutes until cooked through.
Stir the skyr, mustard and honey into a dip and season with salt.
Thread the bites onto wooden skewers and serve warm with the mustard dip.
