Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: chopping board · knife · mixing bowl · sieve

  1. Stir the low-fat quark with the water in a bowl until smooth and nicely creamy.
  2. Add the honey and stir until the sweetness is evenly distributed. If you like, stir in a little more water.
  3. Wash the blueberries carefully and drain them well.
  4. Roughly chop the almonds so they give a bit more bite.
  5. Spoon the quark into a bowl and scatter the blueberries and almonds over the top.
  6. Serve the bowl straight away, while the blueberries are fresh and the almonds still crunchy.

Good to know

When you need something fast, a bowl like this is simply nice. Creamy, fresh and with a bit of bite – without much effort.

Swaps

Low-fat quark → skyr (similar protein content, often slightly milder flavour); blueberries → raspberries (more fibre per serving); almonds → walnuts (more omega-3 fatty acids); honey → mashed banana (extra fibre and natural fruit sugar).

Allergens

Contains milk and tree nuts. Generally suitable for children – for small children, chop the almonds finely or grind them; in pregnancy the ingredients are generally unproblematic when prepared fresh and hygienically.
