Method

You’ll need: chopping board · knife · mixing bowl

  1. Put the Greek yoghurt in a bowl and stir until smooth.
  2. Roughly chop the walnuts and wash the blueberries.
  3. Scatter the blueberries, walnuts and chia seeds over the yoghurt.
  4. Drizzle with the honey and sprinkle with cinnamon.
  5. Leave for a moment so the chia seeds can swell a little.
  6. Serve straight away – it's best eaten fresh.

Good to know

When mornings need to be quick, a bowl like this is a real help. Creamy, fresh and pleasantly hearty without feeling heavy.

Swaps

Walnuts → almonds (more vitamin E) | honey → date paste (also provides fibre) | blueberries → raspberries (more fibre) | Greek yoghurt → skyr (more protein, a tangier flavour)

Allergens

Contains milk and walnuts (tree nuts). Generally fine for children – cut whole nut pieces smaller depending on age, and no honey for babies under a year old; in pregnancy, pasteurised yoghurt and well-washed berries are the safe choice.
