Good to know
Cottage cheese is only for savoury food? Not at all! With honey and berries, this low-carb favourite makes a brilliant dessert.
Swaps
Cottage cheese → thick low-fat quark (stirred smooth with a little water). Honey → maple syrup (works just as well). Walnuts → pecans (a softer crunch).
Cooking tips
Don't stir everything together, honey included. Keeping the layers separate on the spoon gives you a more interesting mouthful.
Storage
Best freshly made – the nuts go soft if it's stored.
Allergens
Contains milk and tree nuts (walnuts). Naturally gluten-free.
