Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: hand mixer · chopping board · knife · mixing bowl · whisk

  1. Put the low-fat quark, cocoa powder and almond milk in a deep bowl.
  2. Pour the honey over the top and beat everything with a hand mixer or whisk for 2 min until smooth.
  3. Roughly chop the almonds.
  4. Scatter the chopped almonds evenly over the pudding.
  5. Leave the pudding to stand for 5 min so the cocoa thickens it, and eat it cold.

Good to know

You don't have to go without chocolate in the evening. This thick pudding takes care of any sweet craving and gets its protein from quark.

Swaps

Less sweet: halve the honey and round it off with cinnamon, vanilla or a few berries.

Cooking tips

Always sieve the cocoa powder before adding it to the quark. Cocoa forms small, hard lumps in storage that never dissolve by stirring alone.

Storage

The pudding dries out quickly on the surface. If you want to keep it for later, cover the bowl airtight with cling film.

Allergens

Contains milk and tree nuts (almonds, almond milk). Completely gluten-free.
