High-protein chestnut and skyr cream with cinnamon oranges
High-protein chestnut and skyr cream made with skyr, puréed chestnuts, maple syrup and vanilla, served with cinnamon orange segments. A festive dessert with 21.7 g protein per glass.
Blend the chestnuts with the milk, maple syrup and vanilla extract into a smooth cream.
Stir the skyr until smooth and fold in the chestnut purée so that a few streaks remain.
Peel the oranges with a knife so that the white pith comes off too, and cut out the segments. Catch the juice and mix it with the cinnamon.
Turn the orange segments in the cinnamon juice and leave them to infuse for 5 minutes.
Layer the chestnut and skyr cream and the cinnamon oranges alternately in four glasses and chill for at least 30 minutes.
Sprinkle the cream with chopped walnuts before serving.
