Ingredients

Method

You’ll need: frying pan · mixing bowl · sieve

  1. Spoon the Greek yoghurt into a bowl or glass and smooth the top.
  2. Wash the berries and drain them well so the yoghurt stays nice and creamy.
  3. Roughly break up the walnuts. If you like, toast them briefly in a dry frying pan until fragrant.
  4. Spread the berries over the yoghurt and scatter over the walnuts.
  5. Finally, drizzle over a thin stream of honey.
  6. Serve straight away and eat directly from the bowl or glass.

Good to know

So simple and still really good. Creamy, fresh and with just the right crunch to make every spoonful interesting.

Swaps

Walnuts → pecans (milder flavour, also contain unsaturated fats) | Honey → almond butter (with some vitamin E; contains tree nuts) | Greek yoghurt → skyr (a little more protein) | Berries → kiwi (provides vitamin C and a fresh acidity)

Allergens

Contains milk and walnuts (tree nuts). Well suited to children if the nuts are finely chopped to suit their age – no honey for babies under one year old. In pregnancy, fine as long as the dairy products are pasteurised.
