Ingredients
100 g natural yoghurt
100 ml milk
2 peaches
3 ice cubes
1 tsp honey
½ tsp vanilla extract
Method
You’ll need: blender · chopping board · knife
Wash, halve and stone the peaches and dice them roughly. You can leave the skin on if you like it a bit more rustic.
Put the peaches into a blender with the natural yoghurt, milk, honey and vanilla extract. Add the ice cubes last.
Blend everything on high until the smoothie is even and creamy. If it still seems lumpy, blend a little longer.
Check the consistency and adjust with a little milk if needed. That makes the smoothie a bit runnier and easier to drink.
Wipe the rim of the glass clean if needed. With a pale smoothie in particular, that makes a nice difference.
Good to know
Sometimes a cold glass is all you need. This smoothie is soft, fruity and pleasantly simple. That's exactly what makes it so good.
Swaps
Natural yoghurt → Greek yoghurt (more protein, creamier texture); milk → kefir (fermented, a little more acidity); honey → date paste (also adds a little fibre); vanilla extract → vanilla from the pod (fewer additives, purer flavour)
Allergens
Contains milk, so it is not always suitable for people with a milk protein allergy or lactose intolerance. Usually fine for children, but no honey for babies under 12 months.
