Good to know
Cinnamon and warm apple always smell instantly of pure cosiness.
Swaps
Oat milk → almond milk (if you want to cut down on carbs a lot, simply use unsweetened almond milk instead of the oat milk).
Cooking tips
Always add a tiny pinch of fine salt at the end. It brings out the deep natural sweetness of the apples hugely, without any extra sugar.
Storage
The porridge sets very firm when cold, but on warm summer days it also tastes great spooned straight from the fridge.
Allergens
Contains tree nuts (almonds). If you have coeliac disease, make sure you use certified gluten-free oats.
