Ingredients
150 g raspberries
200 g Greek yoghurt
1 tbsp chia seeds
Method
You’ll need: chopping board · mixing bowl
Wash the raspberries and lightly crush them in a bowl with a fork to make a chunky purée.
Add the Greek yoghurt and fold it in only roughly so the mixture stays marbled.
Stir in the chia seeds and leave the mixture to stand briefly so it can thicken a little.
Line a plate or board with baking paper and spoon small portions of the yoghurt mixture onto it.
Put the raspberry yoghurt bites in the freezer until completely firm.
To serve: let the bites soften for one to two minutes before eating and enjoy them cold.
Good to know
Cold, creamy, fruity – just right for a little sweet craving. The bites are quick to make and especially good straight from the freezer.
Swaps
Raspberries → blueberries (milder in flavour, also with fibre). Greek yoghurt → skyr (more protein, similarly fresh). Chia seeds → ground linseed (fibre and omega-3 fatty acids). Greek yoghurt → unsweetened coconut yoghurt (dairy-free, a little more fat depending on the product).
Allergens
Contains milk if you use Greek yoghurt. Offer children small portions that aren't too hard and let the chia seeds swell well; in pregnancy the ingredients are generally unremarkable in normal kitchen amounts.
