Wash the beetroot, apples, carrot and ginger thoroughly. Peel the beetroot if needed and cut everything into rough chunks.
Put the prepared ingredients in a high-speed blender. Add a little water so everything blends evenly.
Blend everything until the juice is as smooth as possible. If you prefer it thinner, strain it through a fine sieve or cloth.
Taste the juice briefly. For more freshness, you can add a little more ginger if needed.
If you'd like it colder, chill the juice briefly or serve it with a few ice cubes.
Pour into a glass and enjoy straight away.
Good to know
This juice tastes clear, fresh and wonderfully naturally sweet. The colour alone looks great, and the flavour stays pleasantly balanced.
Swaps
Apple → pear (similarly mild, also brings fibre). Carrot → orange (provides vitamin C and a fresher acidity). Ginger → fresh turmeric (contains curcumin, earthier flavour). Beetroot → red grapes (sweeter, with naturally occurring polyphenols).
Allergens
The recipe is naturally free from most of the classic allergens. Ginger can taste sharp to children, and during pregnancy normal kitchen amounts are common – if you have individual complaints or intolerances, what matters is how it suits you personally.
