Good to know

Classic cocktail sauce is made from mayonnaise and ketchup. You stir this one together from skyr and tomato purée, with a spoonful of honey and a little orange juice for sweetness. It tastes like the original and is ready in five minutes.

Swaps

Skyr → Greek yoghurt (creamier). Honey → maple syrup. Orange juice → apple juice. Cayenne pepper → smoked paprika.

Cooking tips

Mix the tomato purée with the oil and honey first, then it dissolves into the skyr without lumps. A little horseradish makes the sauce hotter.

Storage

Keeps covered in the fridge for 3 days.

Allergens

Contains milk; gluten-free, no egg or nuts. Suitable for children (no honey for babies under one year old) and in pregnancy.
