Ingredients
100g dark chocolate (sweetened with dates)
1 tbsp coconut oil
3 tbsp peanut butter
1 pinch of sea salt
Method
You’ll need: muffin tin · mixing bowl
Melt the dark chocolate with the coconut oil in a bowl set over a pan of simmering water.
Pour a small teaspoon of chocolate into each of four paper muffin cases and chill for 5 min.
Put a dollop of peanut butter on the chocolate in each case.
Cover the peanut butter completely with the rest of the chocolate so it is sealed in.
Sprinkle a little coarse sea salt over the cups and chill them in the fridge for 1 hour until hard.
Good to know
Better than the supermarket original. You can make these creamy nut chocolates at home with just four simple ingredients.
Swaps
Peanut butter → cashew butter (cashew butter is naturally milder and sweeter, so the cups work without any extra sweetness).
Cooking tips
Use silicone muffin cases or sturdy paper cases so you can easily pop out the finished chocolate cups at the end.
Storage
Always store the finished chocolates airtight in the fridge. At room temperature they quickly turn soft and greasy.
Allergens
Contains peanuts. Completely gluten-free, lactose-free and vegan.
